western United States.
For 53 years, SCMA's flagship boat show has been the Los Angeles Boat Show, the second largest indoor consumer boat show in the country occupying more than a dozen football fields of boats and marine accessories, all under one roof. The Los Angeles Boat Show caters to all sizes of boats and boaters of varying interests and is regarded as the official kick-off event of the new boating season, the place where consumers go to see new model introductions and make buying decisions. Much of L.A.'s enduring success must be credited to the fact that SCMA is a member owned association, committed to quality boat shows that consistently generate sales for all facets of the industry thanks to innovative and aggressive advertising, marketing, promotion and public relations.
